The Haunting of Rosémary: Chapter 3

Mrs. Craven and her family are trapped in their haunted house with the vengeful spirit of the bride. They try to escape, but the doors and windows are all blocked, and they are left with no choice but to perform the cleansing ritual again. This time, they are successful, and the spirit is finally put to rest. However, it's not the end of their troubles. The family discovers that the previous owners of the house had practiced black magic and had left behind cursed artifacts that were responsible for the haunting. Mrs. Craven decides to destroy the cursed artifacts, but she is unaware of the danger that lies ahead.

As they begin to destroy the cursed artifacts, they realize that they have been cursed themselves. Strange symbols appear on their bodies, and they start experiencing terrifying nightmares. Mrs. Craven seeks the help of the same paranormal investigator who had helped them before, but this time, they are dealing with something far more dangerous. The investigator tells them that they have been cursed by a powerful demon, and the only way to break the curse is to perform an exorcism.

Mrs. Craven is hesitant to perform an exorcism, but Rosémary, who has always been fascinated by the supernatural, insists that they do it. They seek the help of Ethan Evans, who had become an exorcist against his parents' wishes. Ethan agrees to help them, but he warns them that the demon is powerful and could possess anyone who is weak-willed.

As they begin the exorcism, they realize that the demon is not just any demon - it is the same demon that had possessed Rosémary's friend, Emma, years ago. The demon is determined to take revenge on Rosémary and her family for banishing it from Emma's body. The exorcism is intense, and they are on the verge of losing Rosémary to the demon. However, with Ethan's help, they manage to banish the demon, and the curse is finally broken.

The family is relieved that the nightmare is over, but they are left with scars that will never heal. Rosémary is traumatized by the experience, and Mrs. Craven regrets ever moving into the house. Ethan, who had always been an outcast in his family, finds solace in helping others and decides to pursue a career as an exorcist. As the family moves on from their haunting, they realize that they will never forget the horrors they had faced and that they will always be haunted by the memory of their cursed house. The story ends with a hint of a new danger lurking in the shadows, leaving the reader eager for the next chapter.
